Bio
As president of VeCommerce Inc., Paul Hallett oversees all aspects of the firm's operations, including managing relationships with current and prospective clients, developing new business, and monitoring the legislative, legal, and technological environments under which the firm operates. With his technical expertise in large-scale data and voice networks and in systems integration, Paul ensures that the caliber and preparedness of staff and contractors/subcontractors are sufficient to meet the challenges presented.
Prior to establishing VeCommerce Inc., Paul was the Vice President and General Manager of Lucent Technologies Core Switching Division. Previous to his tenure at Lucent, Paul held several senior positions with Motorola, covering such diverse roles as product management, project management, sales, and integration services both within the United States and Canada.
Paul received both his Ordinary National Certificate in Electrical Engineering and his Higher National Certificate in Telecommunications while serving as an engineering officer in the Royal Navy's Submarine Service. Both degrees were conferred by the United Kingdom's Cambridge University Board. Paul also earned his MBA from McGill University in Canada.
Based in the United States for the last fifteen years, Paul has managed projects in the United States, Canada, China, Japan, and throughout South and Central America.
